It will remain in this safety mode for 5 minutes. If the jam is not dislodged or the pump is not put back in water, it will shut down to avoid burning out. To reset the pump after this has happened, it needs to be turned off at the GPO (power outlet) and left off for 1 minute to reset. As an example, if a PV Pump got jammed or runs out of water it will burnt-out which is not a warrantable event.
